Canning Local History
The city of Canning is located in Western Australia, Australia. It was originally inhabited by the Noongar people of the Nyungar nation. They had occupied the land for thousands of years before the arrival of European settlers in the 19th century. The Noongar people had a deep connection to the land and lived a nomadic lifestyle, moving between the various water sources in the area.
